Join the power movement as a Senior Manager, Planning and Scheduling 

You will manage the team responsible for the end-to-end supply plan to ensure demand and supply for critical system builds are cohesive with the Integrated Master Schedule and Production Plans that allow the company to meet its objectives. You will be a leader who aligns company stakeholders with targets and objectives using production control, scheduling and planning best practices. You will be the planning subject matter expert and exceptional people leader within a collaborative culture and exhibit transparent communication and innovative solutions for mitigating schedule risk.

What you'll do:

  • Foster a cohesive strategy for the planning team that focuses on prioritizing material availability, production control and overall SPARC delivery
  • Create and manage the SPARC Master Schedule for construction, SPARC assembly and integration
  • Create and ensure compliance with all CFS Safety guidelines and policies; correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors while maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Establish and achieve team KPIs with a focus on delivering a functioning SPARC on time
  • Establish ‘pull’ strategy from the SPARC procurement and planning organizations to deliver systems and components for construction per the defined Master Schedule
  • Ensure accuracy of pick orders and record verified information in CFS ERP system
  • Optimize and support business processes including master data management, sales and operations planning and MRP
  • Manage the master scheduling and planning process for direct materials in support of internal customer requirements
  • Negotiate internally and externally at high levels and with persons of influence
  • Provide constant, clear, and timely updates to internal customers
  • Hire, develop, mentor, and performance manage the planning and production control teams
  • Supervise, evaluate and coach team members
  • Develop, monitor, and report supply and production risk mitigation strategies
  • What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years experience in Planning or Supply Chain 
  • 5+ years experience managing multiple levels of staff 
  • Experience in manufacturing environment
  • Exceptional understanding of ERP & MRP functionality, logic and applications 
  • Demonstrable experience/understanding of Master Scheduling best practices 
  • Robust understanding of sales, inventory, and operations planning processes (SIOP, S&OP, IPT or other)
  • Remarkable problem-solving skills with a bias for speed
  • Ability to lead and mentor individuals at all levels 
  • Strong computer skills with MS office and G-Suite applications
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Resiliency - ability to lead, negotiate and inspire teams to work positively under moments of ambiguity and stress
  • Bonus points for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance or other related field
  • Masters Degree
  • Certifications:  A.P.P., C.P.M., CPSM, CSCP, CPIM
  • 5+ years experience in advanced ERP functionality 
  • Experience in a start-up or high growth environment 
  • Proven experience in establishing new or managing improvements to business processes
  • SQL / database query languages
  • Must-have requirements:

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Perform activities such as stooping, typing, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time
  • Work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics
  • Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally
