Zoox is seeking a Senior Electrical System Architect to lead the design and integration of our robotaxi's complex electrical architecture. In this role, you’ll own the integration of electrical and electronic components into the robot electrical system, developing and maintaining logical and physical schematics for our autonomous vehicle platform. Working cross-functionally with component, system, and harness engineering teams, you’ll have a key role in developing the electrical system for our robotaxi.
Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $190,000 to $228,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.

In this role, you will:
Architect and maintain comprehensive electrical system schematics for our autonomous robotaxi platform. Create logical system diagrams that clearly communicate interactions between subsystems such as sensor pods, body controllers, user experience systems, and drive systems.Design and document physical schematics for the overall vehicle system and subsystems.
