SPAN is seeking an enthusiastic intern to contribute to various functions within the commercial team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, support the development of go-to-market strategy, and gain exposure to key areas such as sales, product marketing, marketing, and sales operations.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Assist in the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new products and sales channels.
Work closely with product marketing to create compelling sales collateral and messaging.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide insights for decision-making.
Engage in sales operations tasks, such as CRM management and sales process optimization.
Support distribution field events, installer trainings, etc. as needed.
Participate in cross-functional meetings and gain exposure to various aspects of our commercial business.

Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with email, Google suite, and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
Positive mindset and attitude with a passion for rapidly scaling residential electrification.
Up to 10% travel may be required.
Bonus Qualifications:
Previous internship or coursework in sales, marketing, or related fields.
Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis.
The Internship position has a duration of 12 weeks and will start in May or June of 2024. Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, and have not graduated prior to end of the Internship term.
The hourly rate for this role is $28/ hour.
