What You Will Be Doing

Enabling our Sales force and those of our Channel Partners, is an essential part of our future success. To meet the needs of a rapidly growing market in Europe, our sales teams and partners demand high quality content and training from the Sales Enablement team and the role of Sales Trainer will be instrumental in creating that.

You will be responsible for enabling the internal and partner sales team in the France, Benelux, and Southern Europe region facilitating live and online sales training courses, coaching, and assisting your colleagues to maximise their sales performance to the benefit of ChargePoint. You will be on the cutting edge of electric vehicle (EV) charging with the leader in the EV charging industry, ChargePoint. Supporting Sales and Channel partners you will deliver training programs that shorten new hire sales ramp and create the strongest sales force in the EV charging business.

  • Deliver sales and product training programs in the region that supports ChargePoint’s learning objectives internal and Channel Partner sales teams
  • Support sales enablement colleagues with delivery of sales training across Europe and when required in North America
  • Support European Channel objectives by working closely with in region Partner Account Managers
  • Use your extensive experience of sales along with your knowledge of sales processes and methodologies to find creative ways to solve sales challenges
  • Present training materials both in person and online using a variety of instructional techniques, such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, presentations, facilitation, videos, podcasts and other creative techniques.
  • Utilise sales training skills to develop exceptional content with the sales enablement instructional design team
  • Work cross functionally with sales leadership, marketing, product marketing, sales operations and people operations to ensure alignment with European goals
  • Develop assessments to measure the effectiveness of the curriculum and learner performance in Sales
  • Track training data, report on metrics, and provide feedback and recommendations on how we further develop training for sales roles.
  • Create and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly training programs to ensure that sales maintain their excitement for learning
  • Help create and maintain annual calendar for internal and Channel training in the region
  • Provide insights to support the creation of the Sales Playbook
  • Use coaching techniques to maximise the full potential of all sales in the region

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Understanding of a Sales methodologies such as Sandler, MEDDIC, SPIN Selling, NEAT or some other version to “identify the pains” in the process. 
  • Empathic approach coupled with a coaching mindset to lead yourself and others
  • A deep desire to understand and develop a unique sales process
  • Outstanding presentation, communication & organizational skills 
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment where priorities might change week to week. 
  • Be an effective communicator via all mediums who quickly builds rapport.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in all you do
  • Team player who enjoys the intellectual stimulation of collaborating with colleagues around the world.
  • High performance under tight deadlines.
  • Determined and stress resistant who appreciates a challenge and the benefit of overcoming obstacles to achieve amazing results.

Preferred Background

  • 7+ years of proven success delivering and facilitating training with sales teams and channel partners across multiple European countries.
  • 7+ years in a revenue generating sales role, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Native French speaker with fluency in English (written & spoken) is required, However other European languages such as, Spanish, Italian or other European language would be a strong asset! 
  • Substantial experience in delivering sales training programs aligned with accepted sales methodologies such as, but not restricted to Sandler, MEDDIC, SPIN Selling, NEAT.
  • Strong Learning and Development credentials to support: e-learning, mobile learning, gamified learning, video learning, extended reality (VR/AR) learning, social learning, interactive performance support, learning academies, knowledge management
