EcoVadis seeks a high energy and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our new highly successful Sales Team in Barcelona.
SDRs are responsible for prospecting and outreaching activities on target accounts with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers. This role has the opportunity to be the first touch point for the largest firms in France to evangelize the importance of Sustainability and ESG in global supply chains.
Responsibilities
- Generating new business opportunities to fuel revenue for EcoVadis
- Scheduling discovery calls for Account Executives
- Conducting high-level discovery and educational conversations with Senior Executives (Directors of Sustainability and/or Procurement) in Target Accounts
- Evangelizing the importance of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility for the supply chain of Global 500 companies
- Leveraging your teammates (Marketing and Account Executives) to develop targeted lists, call strategies, internal and external event strategies and messaging in order to drive opportunities in regional areas
- Maintaining an email volume of 50+/calls activities per day (flexible number) with the intent to qualify leads and create pipeline growth
- Meeting or exceeding your quota
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and competition
- Recording and documenting all calls and communications in Salesforce in order to identify trends for improvement
- Monitoring social networks for sales opportunities and leads
- Reporting on a weekly results, both qualitative and quantitative
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate for this role will have an outgoing personality, a desire to learn new skills and to build a career in both sales and sustainability. This person would have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously.
Specific qualifications for the role include:
- University degree in business or sustainability related areas
- At least 1 year of experience working in one of the following functions/areas: Sales, Communication, CSR, Sustainability, HSQE, Procurement, Environment and Human Rights
- Business proficiency in French (C2 or native), English (C1 at least) is a must to be eligible for this role
- Evidence that you are a Top Performer in your current role
- Knowledge of the Iberian corporate business culture
- Passion about Sustainability and willingness to pursue a career in both Sustainability and Sales,
- Superior communication skills and the ability to build reports
- Strong time management & organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and managing multiple tasks
- Ability to work well in an international team environment in a fast growing business
