In this role, you will: 

  • Communicating with clients and gathering information about project’s scope, budgets, and timelines. 
  • Collaborating with key decision makers to identify opportunities and develop ideas that deliver results. 
  • Establish and maintain healthy, long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business and referrals.  
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key collaboration partners and reps. 
  • Attending trades shows and hosting customer events. 
  • Working with key team members from various departments such as marketing, engineering, and finance to optimize sales. 
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs. 
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients. 
  • Preparing and presenting product solutions to prospective clients. 
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives. 
  • Updating and maintaining CRM records of projected sales, closed sales, & expected revenue. 
  • Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation. 

What's essential:

  • Proven working experience as a business/sales development manager, sales/account executive, or a relevant role 
  • Experience in customer presentations in-person and virtually 
  • Proven sales track record 
  • Experience in Capitol Development Projects is a plus
  • Experience using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales
  • Proficiency in MS Office 
  • Solar/Solar Thermal Market knowledge is a plus
  • Communication and negotiation skills 
  • Ability to build and maintain good rapport with clients and partners
  • Time management and planning skills 
  • Travel requirement of 25%
