Quality Engineer

To ensure Smappee products meet both our customers' expectations and our company's high standards it is crucial to strengthen our supply chain division with a Quality Engineer. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing internal and external quality indicators, in ensuring quality of parts provided by suppliers as well as seizing opportunities to optimize the complete quality management process. Responsibilities

• Quality Control (QC): Monitoring and verifying the quality of products during the manufacturing or production process to identify defects or deviations from standards
• Process Improvement: Analyzing data and identifying areas for process improvement to enhance product quality and efficiency
• Quality Documentation: Creating and maintaining quality documentation, including inspection reports, test procedures, and other relevant records
• Supplier Quality Management: Collaborating with suppliers to establish quality requirements, conduct supplier audits, and address any quality-related issues
• Customer Complaint Resolution: Addressing customer complaints related to product quality and working to resolve issues satisfactorily
• Product and Process Audits: Conducting internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and best practices
• Risk Management: Assessing and managing risks related to product quality and safety
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collecting, analyzing, and presenting data on quality metrics and performance to relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in (mechanical or electrical) engineering or equivalent through experience
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or related field
• Knowledge of quality control processes and tools
• Experience developing and implementing quality testing protocols
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively internally and with suppliers
