We’re expanding our Quality Assurance team here at Octopus Energy ECO (Energy Company Obligation). We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join us who will ensure the continued quality of processes across the Quality Assurance (QA) department. Reporting to the Head of ECO Quality Assurance you’ll be working with a QA team of 5, whilst holistically working with our Submissions and Partnerships teams.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone working in ECO or the utility industry. This is a hybrid role based from our ECO Nottingham office at least 2 days a week.

What you'll do

Ensure the quality of processes across the Quality Assurance (QA) department are maintained.

Support in maintaining and updating training and other QA presentations ensuring they are correct and are fit for purpose.

Support in training the wider teams on ECO and GBIS.

Support in completing internal audits as per the QA audit schedule.

Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is maintained with the correct document versions and ensure they are shared with the relevant teams.

Be comfortable with responding and supporting wider teams on internal Energy Company Obligation (ECO) and The Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) queries.

Assist in the development of the internal best practice guides and ensure the wider team have access to them through Knowledge Owl or the QMS.

Support in maintaining the Document Review Schedule.

Assist with the creation and updating of key QA processes.

Support in the admin of any misrepresentation cases.

Aid the team in managing the Quality Assurance inbox.

What you'll need

Passionate about maintaining quality of processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and comfortable with google applications.

Attention to detail.

Adaptable to an ever changing regulatory landscape.

Able to communicate effectively in a way that makes it simple for the recipient to understand.

Previous experience in another Quality Assurance role (a bonus if within ECO) or with using a Quality Management System (QMS).

An understanding of the ECO and GBIS.
