Role Description
We are looking for a Program Manager, Site Operations to help our company through a critical growth period.  The Site Operations Program Manager will be a key driver of Site Development projects which will take us from Pilot scale to a medium and subsequently growing Manufacturing footprint over the course of several years and projects.  Close interactions with a variety of internal teams to develop a world class manufacturing facility plan.  Further engagement will include working with all internal stakeholders ensuring excellent stakeholder management in areas of Site Operations responsibility.  Construction management and site selection support will also be a major focus for this team member, to include due diligence management and vendor selection and management.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop cohesive strategic plans for all Site Operations projects (Capital Projects, Workplace Services, Space Planning, Facilities, EHS, and Lab Operations)
  • Track and report progress for all department initiatives throughout their entire lifecycle, proactively identifying and highlighting critical-path dependencies, risks, and opportunitiesImplement consistent planning tools that communicate program plan and status across the organization; leverage those tools to inform and contribute to data-based strategic decisions
  • Direct Program management of the development of new spaces and changes to current spaces, working cross functionally with leaders of technical and operational teams to develop seamless program needs, timelines and budgets
  • Collaborate across the business to scope out new requests for projects supporting the needs of different functional teams, work with these stakeholders and the Site Operations team to define and accomplish key project deliverables
  • Ensure that appropriate partners across the business (e.g. Finance, People Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, etc.) are involved and updated regularly on various projects and programs
  • Facilitate formal site selection evaluations by gathering and organizing data and feedback from Site Operations teams and critical stakeholders
  • Manage due diligence efforts of new sites, developing decision matrices for best site selection opportunities
  • Review resourcing based on prioritization of department initiatives and supports project execution across the department as-needed
  • What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a project and/or program management role
  • 3-5 years of professional experience including management of contractors and outside vendors
  • Proficient with Google Suite, Slack, Bluebeam Revu, and various scheduling softwares
  • Track record of success and increasing responsibility: developing and managing operational and construction schedules and budgets, planning and leading the execution of small to medium scale lab or manufacturing construction projects, and working in a rapidly growing and fast paced R&D and manufacturing environment
  • Strong ability to navigate all levels of the organization to understand current and upcoming needs, cross-prioritize initiatives and communicate expectations
  • Customer oriented and execution mindset with a focus on finding creative solutions to problems in order to enable the business, breaking down any barriers
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills delivering communication with precision and professionalism
  • Ability to manage through fast moving, start up challenges with ease and comfort
  • Extremely good at maintaining situational awareness and delivering both tactical and strategic solutions where applicable
  • Data-informed decision maker
  • Drives projects to completion
