Role Description
As a key member of the Finance team, and our first dedicated Business Intelligence (BI) professional, you will lead the design and launch of Form’s BI and analytics ecosystem. 

In doing so, you will be foundational in enabling data-driven decisions and meaningful KPI tracking across our operations teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Deployment, Facilities, HR), and serve as a key interface between operations and our software teams (Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Platform). 

Success in this role requires long-term vision for the needs of a quickly growing company, technical knowledge / experience in building BI systems from the ground-up, and desire to collaborate across teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Business partnering: Work closely with operations teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Deployment, Facilities, HR) to understand key business objectives and opportunities for improved visibility and data-driven insights. 
  • Influence & inform data infrastructure:Collaborate with teams across Form to define the requirements for a unified framework (schema, ETL, reporting, analytics) for governing / transforming operations and finance transactional data into insights. You will partner closely with Form’s Software teams in this endeavor. 
  • Scale access to data-driven insights: Develop and execute on strategies to enable self-service analytics & data-driven decision-making across operations & finance teams. 
  • Provide thought leadership: Develop a roadmap for BI and analytics architecture to scale with Form’s product lifecycle and evolving data needs. Partner with teams to make key decisions on the next transactional, ERP, and analytics platform. 
  • What You'll Bring:

  • Passion for tackling climate change
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience working with data ecosystems (ex. ETL, data warehouse), and building analytics tools
  • Desire to build systems & tools from scratch, and to partner with operations teams in understanding and enhancing business processes
  • Experience gathering requirements for analytics & reporting needs, partnering with software engineering teams to implement solutions, and leading change management during rollout
  • Experience designing and implementing master data management framework (dimensional data modeling & star schema), ETL processes, and cloud-based reporting tools
  • High level of comfort with SQL, especially within the context of developing self-serve reporting tools (ex. PowerPivot, PowerQuery, Tableau).
