About the position:
Location: Arlington, VA or Alpharetta, GA or Houston TX (hybrid—3 days from office)
The Procurement & Subcontract Specialist role reports under the Sales Engineering & Procurement organization with a duel focus on supporting procurement efforts for the Americas Service organization as well as the Americas Execution team. The primary focus for this role will be Services support, where the candidate will work closely with the Field Services team supporting warranty, maintenance and material needs for all projects under a Long-Term Service Agreement “LTSA” within the America’s region.
Responsibilities
•Create and issue Purchase Orders for both Services and Execution teams
•Work closely with stakeholders to identify bid list for upcoming projects, evaluate proposals and make a recommendation prior to award
•Support resolution of invoice discrepancies
•Source and purchase equipment and materials as needed, including equipment, spare parts and replacement parts. Track the order through delivery and update the stakeholder throughout the process.
•Review and negotiate terms and conditions with existing service providers and potential partners
•Execute nondisclosure agreements with potential suppliers
•Perform supplier onboarding
•Expedite material purchases to ensure on time delivery
