We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team and help manage our organization’s procurement needs.
Procurement Specialist responsibilities include researching new suppliers, ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet our specifications, and negotiating with vendors as needed.
Ultimately, you will work with leaders in our organization to understand the needs of our organization and ensure we achieve our supply goals in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Planning, creating, and processing timely requisitions and purchase orders for materials and services with approved suppliers.
Identifying prospective suppliers of assigned categories,Working directly with the vendors to identify best service provider at competitive price
Liaise with the end users for understanding requirements and floating the enquiries with multiple suppliers like RFP, RFQ
Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods/services, deadlines, expectations, etc.
Making comparative quote analysis for the decisions
Responsible for all documentation associated with a purchase as required by company policies. Ensure audit readiness of all purchasing documents.
Working with cross functional departments such as finance, sales, and operations to resolve issues and concerns
Coordinate with enabling functions for understanding the procurement / Services requirements
Coordinate with suppliers and project managers regarding updates and details of goods and services
Tracking orders ,Ensuring on-time deliveries
Developing strong relationships with key suppliers and measure suppliers’ performance based on cost, quality, delivery, and service level.
Ensuring accurate materials received as per procurement and planning.
Preparation of MIS reports in line with the requirements of the dept.
Adhere to the Procurement Policy and vendor onboarding process
General computer proficiency with MS 365 or equivalent collaboration tools, MS Excel, Power BI etc.
•Well versed & working experience with ERP (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
•Well versed & working experience with S2C, SRM tools/business systems (Ariba, Coupa, SRM)
•Excellent communication (Verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
•Excellent Presentation skills
•Analytical & problem-solving skills, Agile and adaptable.
•Exposure to Spend Analytics and opportunity assessment
•Good Understanding of Procurement Domain
•Must be self-driven, organized, planning skills and be able to work in a fast-paced team environment
Qualifications & Skills
•Bachelor’s Degree or graduation is required in engineering, commerce, or related field. Master’s Degree or Post graduation diploma in Operations, Supply Chain or Business is preferred
Preferred experience: 4~7 Years total in Purchase / Procurement direct and Indirect materials
