What you will do: 

As a Procurement Analyst on the Operations and Supply Chain team, you will focus on supporting supply chain operational excellence by tracking and reporting on supplier and vendor development, material forecasting and supply, and key performance metrics through accurate data analysis. Most of your time will be spent researching, monitoring, and reporting data on supplier and vendor information, procurement strategy, and developing purchasing plans for consumables, MRO, and commodities.  In this role you will: 

  • Monitor and report on raw material, service, component, and related requirements from engineering, R&D, and production specifications and schedules purchasing plans to avoid supply shortages 
  • Provide Supply Chain Management and Leadership teams with data analysis on subjects such as raw material development, market situations, supplier landscape, and latest news on current supplier base 
  • Support the Procurement team with data visualization, bid analysis, business intelligence, and vendor performance tracking and reporting 
  • Source, purchase, plan, and schedule the movement of raw materials, consumables, maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), and commodities 
  • Develop and maintain accurate expense forecasts and plans and internal and external continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Conduct market research to identify key suppliers and recommend cost-efficient purchasing strategies 
  • Assisting with Procurement reporting requirements, commodity performance metrics and vendor scorecards 
  • Propose and create dashboards to capture, visualize, and present vendor performance metrics 
  • Investigate operational needs, problems, and opportunities to create and present solutions in strategic purchasing, gain visibility, and mitigate procurement risks 
  • Assist in process improvement efforts to improve data quality and efficient execution 
  • Other duties as assigned 

What we need you to bring to the team: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline such as Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or Supply Chain 
  • 3 years combined experience in data analysis with a focus on operations/supply chain activities 
  • Demonstrated expertise, familiarity, and ease with handling large data sets to analyze, draw conclusions and present a coherent viewpoint 
  • Experience with ERP and MRP systems 
  • Strong business skills with a focus on risk mitigation 
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as needed 
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing processes and responsibilities 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation:  

  • The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 annually and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.
