Your key focus will be:

  • Provide process engineering support to proposals and studies
  • Develop deliverables such as PFDs, HMBs, Plant performance summary including utility consumption, basic equipment designs, and technical report.
  • Interface with various engineering disciplines, project management, R&D, Sales, and external partners as required.
  • Actively contribute to innovation and process improvement
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations
  • The opportunity is best suited for an innovative individual with a solid process engineering background who aspires to grow into a well-round technical lead in front-end project development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should have a combination of the below knowledge, skills, and experience:

 

  • B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience in process engineering. EPC project experience preferred.
  • Valid Professional Engineer licence – APEGA P. Eng. Required. Transfer from other Canadian provinces may be considered.
  • Knowledge of gas separation technologies used in gas processing, gasification, carbon capture, or industrial gas processes
  • Knowledgeable in standard process engineering procedure and process simulation software.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small, developing, and entrepreneurial organisation; high level of flexibility and adaptability required.
  • Strong relationship building skills, especially building relationships across a dispersed team.
