About this job 

We are hiring an Office Coordinator to work cross functionally with our operations and science teams in pursuit of our mission to produce world-class cultivated meat products. This person will run day-to-day operations at our R&D location including office management, vendor coordination, procurement support, and receiving packages. They will serve as a first point of contact for many inquiries from across the team and foster a positive environment for all employees. An ideal candidate for this position sincerely enjoys customer service and going the extra mile to help others and will have demonstrated success working in a fast-paced environment on a rapidly evolving team. 

Responsibilities include

• Perform day-to-day tasks; oversee upkeep of office, kitchen, and storage spaces.
• Manage key facility and office vendor relationships.
• Coordinate vendors and guests, acting as the first point of contact and enforcing visitor policies.
• Receive and process packages and deliveries; collect and distribute mail.
• Maintain stock levels of office and facility supplies.
• Troubleshoot order, receipt, and invoice issues, delays, and returns.
• Assist with onboarding new hires.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve business operations.
• Provide consistent, genuine, reliable, high-quality customer service to all team members.
• Proactively work to identify and resolve potential problems with respect to operational issues.
• Respond to inquiries from internal as well as external customers via email and phone in a timely fashion.
• Support diverse projects as they arise.

About you

• 1+ years of relevant professional work experience.
• Ability to time-manage competing priorities and drive toward deadlines.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized with attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal maturity, poise, and professionalism.
• Passionate about serving in a support role and has a customer service mindset.
• Experience collaborating across and supporting various functional groups.
• Comfortable with evolving responsibilities and flexibility to adapt.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Team player who demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit, and sense of humor.
• Superior organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Who you’ll work with

• You will partner with every function in the company! It’s a rare opportunity to learn about all parts of the business and industry.
• This role will most frequently interact with our IT, Finance, People, and Lab Ops teams.

Key Contributions in First Year

• Be recognized as the go-to person for fielding questions from internal team members and external partners.
• Play a key role in the reorganization and expansion of our office facilities.
• Maintain strong infrastructure and cohesion across our office spaces, and provide ongoing administrative and operational support to keep them running smoothly.
• Utilize your unique skills and style to shape, implement, organize, and run day-to-day office operations.

Compensation Range: $27-$34/hr*
*Pay may vary depending on factors including job-related knowledge and skills.
