More about the role
The position is an integral part of our Corporate team, playing a crucial role as we expand our corporate support functions across APAC. As processes are established across regions, this role will evolve and offer additional responsibilities. A primary focus of this role is fostering strong relationships with finance team members, particularly in the UK. Additionally, you may be required to provide support to other Corporate functions.
Your main responsibilities will include enhancing and implementing standardised financial processes for reporting and analysis while ensuring compliance with reporting obligations. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering accurate and timely month-end reports to management and various business areas, with a specific emphasis on providing in-depth analysis of monthly results. Documentation of key financial and corporate processes will be another important aspect of your role, and you will collaborate with other members of the corporate team to develop cross-functional expertise. You will also assist in various consolidated business functions managed by the team, including but not limited to financial year-end and audit processes, annual business planning, month-end close, tax compliance, and quarterly board reporting.
In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also be responsible for providing cover when necessary in various financial aspects of our operations. This includes managing the bank balance and daily cash flow forecasts to ensure that we always have sufficient funds available to meet our payment obligations. You will also play a crucial role in managing payroll processes, working alongside our external provider. This involves handling monthly payroll for OENZ/Kraken in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, and Japan, ensuring that all required information is provided and conducting relevant reviews. Additionally, you will offer support to the accounts payable function, contributing to the smooth financial operations of the organisation.
