Role Description
We are looking for a highly driven construction planner and scheduler to support the execution of our first-in-kind battery factory and beyond. In this role, you will lead the planning and tracking from design through execution and will provide management with critical decision-making information that ensures projects deliver on time and on
budget.This is an exciting opportunity to start from a blank slate and use first principles fundamentals to plan a fully integrated execution of the FormFactory infrastructure (EPC) and manufacturing.
This opportunity is based out of the Greater Pittsburgh Area

What You'll Do:
Drive the overall planning, scheduling and tracking of the FormFactory infrastructure and manufacturing execution projectsWork with factory engineering, construction, manufacturing teams as well as program managers to define, sequence and integrate the execution plan Integrated internal & external teams schedules using P6Take ownership of the plan, develop innovative ways to accelerate and hold internal and external teams accountableProvide tracking, progress reports and escalate risks/gaps early Challenge and vet contractors durations and sequencingYou will be working from the factory site, ensuring proper progress in the field or escalatingDevelop scheduling metrics and benchmarks that enable future planning and set expectations with our contractorsLead ad-hoc schedule studies that enable rapid decision-making based on tradeoffs between alternativesWhat You'll Bring:
8+ years of experience in construction planning and scheduling, preferably in industrial and/or high-tech industriesAdvanced Oracle Primavera P6 experienceComprehensive understanding of construction means and methods in equipment installations, civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines. You know how factories are built.Ability to direct and manage both internal and external scheduling resources, including construction and manufacturing contractorsComprehensive understanding of planning and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling processes and proceduresAbility to lead planning and progressing meetings with a variety of functions, disciplines, and tradesAbility to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and ambitious goalsExceptional drive, sense of ownership and resourcefulnessBachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent relevant experience
