Position functions as the programmer/operator of a Laser Tracker Machine and its software to develop and perform dimensional inspections for in-house manufactured products to determine conformity. The ideal candidate is proficient in using the laser tracker and its software.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment using OSHA-required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ability to stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

High School graduate or equivalentAbility to read and interpret blueprints and Engineering drawingsWorking knowledge of ASME Y14.5At least 2 years of experience performing measurements using applicable equipmentExperienced with laser tracker usage and associated software, plus standard hand measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gage blocksProficient in the use of computer applications such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and/or web-based software.Basic and/or Advanced training or knowledge of measurement software.Attention to detail.Above and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you:
Two or four-year degree in Mechanical EngineeringTwo or more years of experience in Quality Control in AerospaceCertification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ)Experience with quality control techniques such as Six SigmaWorking knowledge of CAD software including Catia, or Onshape.Knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as AS9100Knowledge of FAA regulations and Aerospace conformity requirementsExperienced interfacing with Business Enterprise Systems such as Plex.Experience with Inspection software such as Polyworks, or equivalent reporting softwareExperience working with a manufacturing team to develop new processes.
