Role Description
Form Energy seeks a Lab Operations Technician to enable our research and development efforts to continue to run safely and effectively. You will help with day-to-day lab upkeep and organization, maintain lab equipment, assist with the implementation of new lab procedures and processes, and help promote safety within the lab. Reporting to the Lab Manager, you will apply your attention to detail and prior lab experience towards our mission of decarbonizing the electric grid.

What You'll Do:
Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of lab processes and programs (chemical inventory, SDS document organization and logging new lab equipment)Support installation and setup of new equipment and furnishings into the laboratoryManage gas cylinder inventory and satellite waste accumulation areasPerform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on lab equipment (pumps, vacuums, water filtration units, portable exhaust units)Assist with tool and equipment calibration by coordinating with our calibration vendorPerform inventory checks in lab for PPE, lab supplies and consumablesPerform routine housekeeping tasks to keep the lab space clean and safeManage and monitor chemical labeling in secondary containers and storage locationsPerform weekly inspections of safety equipment including shower and eyewash stationsWhat You'll Bring:
