About the role
The Inventory Manager is responsible for the proper receipt and inventory of all deliveries to project site(s) that includes but not limited to construction materials, equipment, hardware, and assemblies. You will be responsible for inventory management process and inventory audits. You will be the first point of contact for deliveries and collaborate with the Procurement and Project Execution teams for planning efforts and to address issues.
For the first 3-4 months, or so, you will spend most of your working hours, Monday through Friday, on a construction site in the USA. Our systems take 6-24 months to build. Energy Vault covers the travel, food, and other miscellaneous expenses. After the initial 3-4 months, you can expect travel requirements to be 40-50%.

What you will do
Monitor all inventory counts. Perform inventory audits. Track and control shipping in a cost-effective manner.Assure that no damaged items are sent or received.Properly account for the location of incoming goods.Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list.Ensuring accuracy of On-Hand inventory records in ERP system.Packaging products for return to vendors and completing necessary paperwork.Scan and/or upload receiving documents to repository. Assist the Project Management Team in other work that supports efficiency and enhancements of site logistics and operations. Maintain a safe and clean working environment for guests and customers. Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), lifting, and reporting unsafe situations.What a qualified candidate should possess
2-5-years of experience in inventory management, shipping/receiving leadership, or relevant roles.Minimum high school diploma or GED, bachelor’s degree is preferred. Supply chain experience preferred. Construction, oil/gas, renewable energy experience preferred. Experience with inventory control systemsDetail-orientedMaintaining accurate and proactive control of inventory.Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.Good communication and organizational skillsAble to operate a pallet jack and forklift. Forklift certification or ability to receive one may be required.
