Intern - Software Engineering 

 

Your role and your team:

We are looking for outstanding candidates to join our team for a Software Engineering internship.

In this position, you will contribute to the development of the software infrastructure and of the tools required to support the development of airborne and laboratory test software.

The intern will be provided professional guidance and objectives to develop functions more and more complex with the existing tools, or to kick-start the development of new applications.

In this position, you will support also the development of the complete infrastructure for the continuous integration of the software development. The intern will support the definition of continuous integration pipelines, the integration of the tools and the development of customized code.

The position requires someone with strong scripting skills, version control, proactivity and problem solving. Continuous integration environment experience is a plus.

Your day to day:

  • Support the definition and development of software development pipelines in a continuous integration environment.
  • Develop customized solutions to support the software development of airborne and laboratory test applications.
  • Produce documentation of the tools and the applications.
  • Possible development of scripts to automatize the execution steps of the pipeline and continuous integration of the tools.
  • Interact with other teams (system engineers, software engineers, verification engineers) to get requirements for the tools and feedback about them.

Your Profile:

  • Master or Bachelor student in the field of Computer Engineering or similar.
  • Enrollment in a University
  • Strong programming skills in Python is required.
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink is a strong plus.
  • Programming skills in C++ is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Web Systems development using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript or related front-end programming language, CFML is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling (UML) is a plus
  • Experience PowerShell, Bash and Jenkins is desirable.
  • Experience with C#, VB and JavaScript is desirable.
  • Analytic problem-solving skills is required.
  • Fluent English language skills are essential.
  • Minimum duration of the internship: 6 months
