As part of our efforts, we are collaborating with a marketing partner who is a client of Archer but operates independently and this position is NOT directly employed by the Archer Aviation company.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a social media lead, based at Archer’s HQ in San Jose, CA, to assist with the development, planning and growth of Archer’s social media channels. This person will pair closely with executives, marketing leaders and our in-house content producers/designers to manage our channels, publishing a steady flow of creative content that informs and captures the imagination of our followers.
An ideal candidate for this role would be a well-organized, detail-oriented planner and creative that can communicate across teams and partners to develop world-class content.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Archer’s Marketing Directors to create and execute compelling digital strategies across the brand’s social media channels while owning publishing, community management and content strategy.
- Collaborate with Archer’s internal content production team to concept and create social-first content.
- Support executive thought leadership content efforts across social and content production
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless coordination and execution around key events and milestones.
- A decent amount of travel will be needed for this role to ensure all responsibilities are delivered to a high-standard between social coverage and content production.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing and social media.
- Proven track record of success in the world of digital marketing and social media management for a consumer-facing brand that includes developing creative digital marketing strategies and concepting social-first content ideas.
- Experience working for a deep tech / hardware brand is a plus
- Evidence of exceptional ability working with executives, internal stakeholders, vendors and partners to produce world-class events and activations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work under high pressure deadlines and changing requirements.
- Someone willing to travel regionally and internationally
- Knowledge of the aviation industry, eVTOL technology, or sustainable transportation trends is a strong advantage.
- A passion for innovation and a keen interest in shaping the future of urban transportation.

For this position we are targeting a base pay between $108,480 - $135,600, Paid by the marketing partner and not by Archer Aviation.
