As an Industrial Design Engineer at BETA, you will play a pivotal role in the product development process, combining your technical expertise with your creative flair. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for designing and engineering innovative products that meet functional needs, manufacturing feasibility, and aesthetic appeal. Your contributions will be instrumental in turning concepts into reality and creating exceptional user experiences.

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience as an Industrial Design Engineer, Product Engineer, Product Manager, or similar role within the product design or manufacturing industryProficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar toolsStrong understanding of design principles, engineering concepts, and manufacturing processesAbility to interpret design intent and translate it into functional and manufacturable product designsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and analyticallyStrong knowledge of materials, manufacturing techniques, and prototyping methodsStrong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teamsAttention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality designs that exceed expectationsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesAbove and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you:
Advanced degree or +10 years of experience in a similar fieldExperience and working knowledge of equipment certification (i.e. UL, ETL, TUV, etc…)Familiarity with design analysis tools and techniques (e.g. FEA, tolerance analysis)Familiarity with electric vehicle chargingPilot’s license
