The Head of Communications will operate on a global level managing the communications team and provide strategic oversight of the communications function in Carbon Clean.
Your key focus will be:
- To deliver external communications strategies to ensure a flow of content to position Carbon Clean as the leader in the carbon capture field.
- Based on the strategy, co-ordinate, and support approved PR campaigns to raise the profile and understanding of Carbon Clean with key stakeholders.
- Support the execution of the engagement with the media, including the preparation and distribution of press releases, maintenance and extension of media contacts and relationships, media briefings and press conferences.
- Act as the main point of contact at Carbon Clean for communications matters with partner and stakeholder organisations.
- Provide support for the main spokespeople for Carbon Clean.
- Be the people team support partner in the delivery of internal communications and ensure the interface between the organisation’s leadership and its employees is effective, and everyone is kept up to date with key activities and events.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should have a combination of the below knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Proven experience as a communications specialist in a B2B related sector.
- Excellent portfolio with successful project management examples.
- Demonstrable experience of innovative thinking and communicating with influence.
- A Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, or relevant field.
