The Australia Finance Manager, here after ‘AFM’, will report to the Australian CFO and will serve as a true business and compliance partner to the local and regional teams.

 

The AFM will be responsible for assessing financial results, delivering timely and accurate financial reporting and assisting with cash management functions.

 

Importantly, the AFM will lead with a strategic mindset.

The AM is responsible for supporting risk quantification initiatives and provide routine reports on such findings.

 

The AFM will demonstrate a collaborative management style and consistently provide responsive communication to business leadership regarding Australian areas of the finance function.

 

 

·        Co-Own the Income Statement and Balance Sheet for Australia.

·        Lead the preparation of budgets, financial forecasting and financial modelling.

·        Collaborate to support APAC FP&A team with SG&A analysis and articulate variance to forecasts & budgets.

·        Support financial audits and provide recommendations with the output.

·        Work closely with Contracts Sales Managers on contracts, into which the company may enter, to support from a financial planning perspective.

·        Review balance sheet accounts and provide oversight on issues.

·        Provide FP&A leadership for Australia and the region FP&A team.

·        Support global & regional initiatives on outsourcing Backoffice functions

·        Drive local initiatives to support Global SOX requirements.

 

 

·        More than 10 years of broad financial leadership, with an accounting degree and preferred to have MNC/corporate finance experience.

·        Several years of management experiences in APAC, understanding the unique cultural nuances of multiple Asian countries is ideal.

·        Broad financial leadership experience including but not limited to accountancy, regulatory reporting and FP&A.

·        Experience interacting with an executive leadership team.

·        Demonstrated ability to accept and drive rapid change.

·        Be a supportive contributor to progressive thinking and growth.

·        Experience within or exposure to clean energy is desirable.

·        Demonstrate accountabilities are aligned with drivers and desired outcomes of the business.

·        Strong business partner with analytical

·        Demonstrates outstanding communication and interpersonal.
