We're looking for a Field Technician to contribute to our company’s rapid and sustainable growth. As a Field Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of our SmartStops, Smappee’s  EV Fastcharging squares. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our EV charging infrastructure and providing exceptional service to our customers. You will ensure that Smappee's EV chargers meet safety and performance criteria, contributing to their advancement and sustainability. 

We're looking for a Field Technician to contribute to our company’s rapid and sustainable growth. As a Field Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of our SmartStops, Smappee’s  EV Fastcharging squares. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our EV charging infrastructure and providing exceptional service to our customers. You will ensure that Smappee's EV chargers meet safety and performance criteria, contributing to their advancement and sustainability. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electricity and/or first experience in a similar position.  
• Technical aptitude or willingness to learn, including the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.  
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve (technical) issues effectively.  
• Familiarity with energy monitoring, smart home devices, or renewable energy technologies is a plus.  

• English and Dutch is a must, French is a plus. 
• Willingness to travel to various locations in Belgium as required.
