What You Will Be Doing: 

The Construction Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Facilities and ensure that important facilities projects are completed safely, on time, and to the required standard of quality. You will manage a team that supports construction and maintenance projects. You will provide project management expertise for larger construction projects and renovations including gathering bids and estimates, vendor selection, managing permitting, budgeting, scheduling, coordination, contract management, and construction.

You Will: 

  • Manage construction projects both large and small through coordination with the in-house facilities team or through the management of outside contractors
  • Manage project costs and budgets including estimating project costs, tracking budgets and expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures where possible
  • Procure materials, equipment, and labor necessary for project execution. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Implement quality control reviews to ensure workmanship meets or exceeds standards and project specifications and contractual obligations
  • Enforce safety protocols to minimize risks and prevent accidents on the construction site and promote a culture of safety among team members

Required Skills: 

  • At least 5 years of experience providing high-quality project management support for all levels of an organization
  • Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Strong knowledge of construction codes, methods, materials, techniques, and regulations
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

The pay range for this position is $110k - $160k. This pay range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
