Entry-Into-Service Manager, Americas 

The Role: 

As the Entry-into-Service Manager, Americas, you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the Lilium Jet market enablement strategy in key Lilium markets in the Americas. This includes driving infrastructure and vertiport readiness, setting up and managing our initial support and services partners and establishing and executing commercial integration in the Americas. You will also work closely with our in-market customers to understand their support and service needs. Your work will be pivotal to our go-to-market strategy, ensuring that Lilium establishes a strong presence before launching operations in our key markets. This role requires a strategic thinker, a strong relationship builder, and an effective communicator. 

As Lilium’s PowerOn representative in the Americas, you will represent Lilium’s interest in relationships with our infrastructure, government, sales and brand partners to launch our services into our entry into service markets. You oversee and supervise the development of the wider eco-system, including network and landing sites, the establishment of maintenance support, the organization of the training delivery, and the general commissioning of GSE and digital tools to enable efficient operations.    

Your Day to Day:  

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement region-specific strategies to ensure market readiness across the Americas. 
  • Partnership Management: Establish and manage relationships with commercial aviation partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to secure the necessary infrastructure for the Lilium Jet and support in our entry into service in the market. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Business Marketing, Airline Operations, and GRPA teams to align on service offerings and infrastructure products. 
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Drive contract negotiations and finalize partnerships that are critical to market readiness. 
  • Risk & Opportunity Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities to ensure smooth execution. 
  • Technical Support: Provide strategic and technical support to the sales team, including developing and pitching regional strategies.  

Your Profile: 

  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven success in managing strategic projects and partnerships, particularly in high-paced environments such as management consulting, investment banking, or the aviation/airport industry. 
  • Strategic Execution: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies that meet the highest project management standards. 
  • Academic Background: A strong academic foundation in business, engineering, architecture, or law is a plus. 
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial orientation with a focus on delivering results. 
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English is required. 
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
