Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for MRB activities at all build locations (San Jose and Covington)
- Responsible for build quality and checks needed for all phases of aircraft build
- Coordinate Functional testing issues and HV tests on the aircraft
- Coordinate DFM / DFA activities for Engineering
- Lead physical Harness upgrade activities if required
- Coordinate with Flight test group for all inspections, repair and Work instructions
- Provide assistance to ME and Technicians on any clarification needed on Engineering data.
- Help to Develop and implement MRB Methods and Standards for all Production Facilities
- Helps to develop Design and Compliance Standards within the Team
- Strong Understanding of Compliance for Harness Design
- Experience with both 2D and 3D Wiring Design; knowledge of Mentor Graphics Design Tool Suite preferable
- Travel offsite might be needed based on Flight operations requirements
What You Need:
- Minimum of 5 Years Of MRB / Design Experience
- Strong Understanding of Wire Harness Compliance Requirements
- Familiarization with Harness Fabrication concepts, systems or tools
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with new product development program
- Worked on or Supported Military/Defense Programs
- Extensive Support for Production/Manufacturing
