Carbo Culture is a carbon removal technology developer on a mission to solve climate change by permanently removing CO2. We are headquartered in Helsinki with a subsidiary and operations in the UK and the US. Our team is mostly remote, but we make it a priority to meet for team or company wide summits. We work closely together online across time zones using tools such as Slack, Zoom, Asana and Google Suite.

We are looking to add a (Senior) Document Controller to join our team in Helsinki, Finland. This is a cross functional role with the ownership for responsibilities for document control supporting the organisation as we scale up our facilities.

As a Document Controller, you will:

• Lead, manage and develop documentation activities and participate in project work
• Act as documentation lead in solution or equipment delivery projects including site operations
  • Leading project documentation activities
  • Acting as document controller
  • Controlling and managing documentation flow in projects
  • Being key user of project Document Management Systems
  • Training of delivery project personnel in using Document Management Systems
  • Collecting project specific documentation requirements and ensuring that project team has been trained and has needed support and information
• Support delivery, sales, supply and technology development projects in documentation management
• Resource planning in projects together with the line manager
• Participate and in selected cases lead implementation and development of systems and practices in Document Management area
• Department wide responsibilities in certain areas agreed together with manager (e.g. onboarding, tool key user)
• Support for other team members in their projects and be the contact person in the organisation regarding documentation matters.
  

Our ideal candidate:

• Degree in relevant field
• Extensive experience in Document Management / Control
• Experience in using document management systems
• Proficiency in English and Finnish, other languages are beneficial
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of technical information standards
• Understanding of relevant technology, equipment, customer needs, project’s needs, processes, and services
• Proactive and result oriented attitude
• Self-driven working style
• Capability to manage the responsibility area independently
• Leadership skills
• Customer interface experience
• Experience working with different stakeholders in industrial delivery projects
• On site experience
