Location: Pasadena or Long Beach, CA

Working arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days/week in the office)

About this role:

  • Design and build world class IT architecture providing reliable and secured infrastructure and networking framework
  • Manage leading information security solution to provide up-to-date solution with an understanding of latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats to ensure that the organization's security measures remain effective
  • Provide and maintain Best-in-Class tools and processes to create and maintain efficient business operations and high-volume factory
  • Collaborate with teams across functions and domains internally and externally

In this role, you will:

  • Own and execute the vision for IT operations
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization including Executive Leadership, Corporate Office, Manufacturing and Engineering teams to assess and anticipate business needs related to technology that will advance the company’s mission, vision, and strategic goals
  • Manage and build a high performing and diverse in-house team of IT professionals and leaders to ensure our end-user support, physical and virtual infrastructure, application management, and more thrive as the company grows
  • Develop, socialize, and implement a vision and roadmap for IT including project & service roadmaps, stakeholder management, cost controls, and internal communications
  • Successfully achieve Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) within ambitious timelines in a fast-paced organization
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of IT Operations including project management, planning & roadmaps, stakeholder management, service management, end-user support, compliance, policies, tooling, and more
  • Grow, build, and manage a team of IT professionals including 1:1 meetings, Career Development, Logistics (e.g.: Expenses & Timecards), Hiring, and Performance Management
  • Manage IT compliance position including reviewing and approving change to policies, implementation of controls, and enforcement while partnering with the broader Security organization on all relevant compliance frameworks (SOX, NIST, etc.)
  • Develop and implement an IT work management process to increase predictability for incidents, enhancements, and longer-term projects while factoring in stakeholder timelines, internal IT initiatives, as well as team well-being and growth

What's essential:

  • Education: bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; graduate degree in a related field (preferred); related experience
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT management
  • Experience: Proven record of managing 3rd party managed services
  • Industry/Environment: 5+ years of experience in a high-growth, entrepreneurial organization highly preferred; construction project management and manufacturing experience a bonus but not required
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with software development, database management, networking, and security
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud operations, networking, applications, operational excellence, regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Experience influencing and executing on strategic technology objectives, while communicating the business value and broader vision to the company
  • Deep experience in leading, guiding, and executing projects from inception to production and further scaling, using a modern technology stack

Desirable:

  • Experience in supporting/managing ERP such as Oracle Fusion and middleware technologies
  • Experience in providing leadership and managing Information Security including Cybersecurity
