Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Associate Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair operations of our organization's facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of facilities and equipment maintenance technicians, ensuring that all facilities and equipment are operating efficiently and in compliance with safety regulations. You will develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, coordinate repair and maintenance activities, and oversee the procurement of necessary supplies and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted operations and a safe working environment.

This opportunity is based out of the Greater Pittsburgh Area at Form Energy's Eighty Four, PA facility.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure the effective execution of maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for all facilities and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Coordinate and prioritize repair and maintenance activities, working closely with internal departments to minimize disruptions to operations and address critical issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to procure necessary supplies and services, negotiate contracts, and oversee their work to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment histories, and maintenance schedules, and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to facility and equipment maintenance, and make recommendations for process enhancements and equipment upgrades as needed.
  • What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in facilities and equipment maintenance, with a track record of managing maintenance operations and leading a team.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of various mechanical, electrical, control and HVAC systems commonly found in commercial manufacturing facilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex maintenance issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and contractors.
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications for tracking and reporting maintenance activities.
