Role Description
As Form transforms the grid, we are seeking a talented and experienced hands-on attorney to be second in house attorney. This role reports directly to the Deputy General Counsel, who leads the legal team at Form. The position will be responsible for handling a variety of corporate legal functions with a focus on employment matters and commercial operations. 

You will play a central role in scaling Form and the legal team to the next level as we expand and grow. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator possessing strong attention to detail, energized by a wide array of day-to-day legal issues in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary legal point of contact to our People Team, providing subject matter expertise on matters relating to recruiting, hiring, immigration, performance management, accommodations, wage and hour issues, employee relations matters, etc.
  • Provide support to the People Team in developing and administering employment related policies and programs
  • Manage outside counsel on all employment related matters
  • Identify, evaluate, and address issues of legal risk in employment related matters
  • Serve as the primary legal point of contact to our Operations teams, working closely with the business to draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts, including commercial transactions, SOWs, supply chain deals, NDAs, strategic partnership, and vendor and professional services agreements, with an emphasis on IP
  • Drive agreements to completion while working cross-functionally and getting input, feedback and approvals from business stakeholders as appropriate
  • Support an extremely fast-moving business with tight deadlines while providing diligent and thorough work product
  • Own, improve and/or develop contract processes, policies, procedures and templates
  • Support the development of policies, procedures, and training to support a global business
  • 6+ years experience at a law firm or in house legal department, including experience with employment matters and contracts
  • JD from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state Bar in good standing
  • Can-do attitude, sense of ownership, and dedication to excellent client service
  • High emotional intelligence, excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Sound practical and business judgment with a focus on effectively minimizing risks while achieving business objectives
  • Proven track record of learning quickly, taking initiative, working proactively and collaboratively, being resourceful and taking on additional responsibility as the need arises
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and develop creative and pragmatic solutions for complex and evolving issues in a rapidly changing environment
  • A willingness to provide and receive feedback
  • Demonstrates consistently good judgment and impeccable integrity
