As Apprenticeship Coach you will support our apprentices through to the successful completion of their apprenticeship in our exciting new programme. As an integral member of our apprenticeship team, you will be working alongside our technical training team to ensure our apprentices receive the best quality programme possible.

What you'll do

  • Coach and support our apprentices as they develop their technical and customer service skills.
  • Work alongside apprentices’ line managers to ensure that the apprentice has access to a comprehensive range of learning opportunities. 
  • Work in partnership with our team of trainers to ensure that our apprentices receive a high quality programme.
  • Take responsibility for supporting apprentices to remain on target for a timely completion.
  • Work with quality & compliance teams to ensure learner compliance throughout the learning programme. 
  • Ensure that the apprentices assigned to you fully comply with ESFA and Ofsted requirements, including the recording of off job training hours.
  • Maintain all required documentation regarding the apprentices.
  • Preparing apprentices for their end-point assessment.
  • Ensure that apprentices feel safe at work, and that their personal wellbeing needs are met.
  • What you'll have

  • A background in assessment and coaching.
  • A qualification in assessment, or would be happy to work towards a minimum level 3 qualification.
  • To have worked in an FE/apprenticeship provision and understand the learner journey and achievement.
  • Familiarity with the EIF framework and ESFA apprenticeship funding rules.
  • To be a strong communicator with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • To be confident, empathetic and passionate about working with others.
  • To be highly organised and motivated.
  • To be passionate about creating a social impact.
