We are looking for an Inventory Control Materials Lead to join our Supply Chain & Procurement team. You will facilitate internal factory logistics and inventory management. You will be working onsite at our Gigafactory located in Devens MA, and report into the Logistics Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee execution against all SOPs related to receipt, storage, and delivery of materials
  • Drive organization and optimization of warehouse space
  • Revamp and implement warehousing and inventory control systems
  • Implement inventory control systems to minimize loss and maximize efficiency
  • Must be proficient in the use of the inventory management system (ERP) and execute real time transactions such as material transfers, PO receipts, and cycle counting
  • Lead continuous improvement opportunities within the warehouse and third-party warehouses, providing input into broader materials management improvement opportunities
  • Oversee cycle count process to ensure accuracy and control of inventory volumes and accurate ERP transactions
  • Manage and monitor the flow of goods from suppliers to the warehouse and inspection areas
  • Interface with Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing and Engineering teams to improve workflows, share visibility of store levels, and physical movements of materials
  • Implement document control including upload processes into the ERP

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in inventory management
  • Knowledge of production environment warehouse, inventory, and logistics procedures
  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Ability to lift and move packages in excess of 30 pounds

$90,000$105,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
