What You Will Be Doing:

We are looking for a software engineer to develop customer-facing AI applications. You’ll work with our technology teams to build a suite of AI tools and applications that will be leveraged across the company. You’ll craft and implement a software development strategy and inspire innovation using the latest AI technologies, reporting directly to our CTO at our Everett, WA office.

You Will:

Own the development of new, internal-facing ChatGPT and OpenAI API implementations and applications to support Helion’s programs
Collaborate with internal technical teams across Engineering, Research, Test, and Nuclear to understand their problems and design solutions to address them
Play a hands-on role in the software development lifecycle, contributing to coding, testing, and debugging
Leverage your experience in AI to contribute to the development of AI-driven features
Optimize applications for speed and scale
Move quickly in an environment with loosely defined processes

Required Skills:

7+ years of relevant engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies
Proficiency with JavaScript, React, and other web technologies
Proficiency with Python

The pay range for this position is $160k-$210k per year. This pay range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
