You will have a significant impact on multiple aspects of our operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping crucial elements such as pack sizing, cell testing optimization, second life considerations, control and thermal strategies and battery diagnostics. Your primary responsibility will be developing accurate and comprehensive cell models and user cases, which will be integrated into our system models. Additionally you will play a key role in influencing how our cell ECM model captures ageing, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our battery performance predictions. Your contributions will directly influence the design and optimization of our battery packs, driving innovations and advancing our cutting-edge technology. As a valued member of our team, your work will be critical in shaping the future of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) transportation.
Success encompass several aspects. First, making significant contributions to the battery modelling field, pushing the boundaries of technology and driving innovation. This could be achieved through the development of accurate and reliable cell ageing models, user cases, and system models that capture battery ageing and optimize performance. Success would also involve actively participating in collaborative efforts within the department, sharing knowledge and insights, and supporting the growth of fellow team members. Additionally, success would be measured by the ability to effectively influence the design and optimization of battery packs, leading to improved pack sizing, testing strategies, thermal management, control systems and diagnostics. Overall, this would be characterized by continuous learning, professional growth, and making a tangible impact on the advancement of battery technology in the context of eVTOL transportation.

Our Ways of Working In the UK we have two offices and a Battery facility in Bristol, an office in London and a site in Kemble with well stocked free kitchen provisions including hot drinks, fruit and breakfasts every weekday. Our typical full time working week is 37.5 hours. We recognise the world of work is rapidly evolving and that 9-5 is no longer a fitting pattern for many. We want to support all employees to deliver their roles to the best possible standard by offering an additional level of flexibility between our sites and home where suitable for your role.
