Your role and your team:

Join our dynamic team of aerospace innovators as an Embedded Software Verification Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of urban e-mobility. As a key member of our Software Intensive Systems team, you'll be at the forefront of verifying our in-house developed platforms real-time software. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a highly-automated software testing framework, ensuring the highest levels of quality and performance. Your expertise in low-level embedded programming and your ability to think strategically will be essential as you architect innovative verification solutions.

You'll have the opportunity to integrate your testing framework with our cutting-edge Application Lifecycle Management system, improving our software development process. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in managing our verification suppliers, ensuring their performance and quality meet our standards while fostering strong and comprehensive supplier relationships.

Your Day to Day:

  • Develop and customize software verification tools, establishing efficient processes and methods.
  • Specify, design, and develop a high-performance automated framework for low-level testing.
  • Seamlessly integrate the testing framework with our Application Lifecycle Management system.
  • Conduct thorough unit and unit-integration tests in both software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
  • Share your knowledge and expertise with our verification suppliers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring exceptional performance. This includes developing comprehensive supplier management strategies and performance management systems.
  • Transfer technology and best practices to our verification suppliers, ensuring alignment and adherence to our quality standards.

Your Profile:

  • A B.Sc/M.Sc/M.Eng in Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field, demonstrating your academic foundation.
  • Proven experience in the verification of modern safety-critical embedded systems and a strong understanding of continuous integration technologies.
  • Deep expertise and hands-on experience in complex hardware/software integration, with proficiency in debug and trace tools. Knowledge of the iSystem toolchain is a plus.
  • Strong programming skills in Embedded-C, UML, and Python, along with familiarity with version control and ALM systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern software testing and analysis solutions, with experience in VectorCast and Polyspace considered a strong advantage.
  • Previous exposure to supplier management and driving successful supplier relationships. This includes experience in developing comprehensive supplier management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work seamlessly in multi-disciplinary teams and effectively present complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
  • Fluent English language skills to foster effective collaboration across the organization.

Beneficial skills and experiences include:

  • Strong expertise in MATLAB and Simulink, with experience in Enterprise Architect seen as an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with aerospace (DO-178C/DO-331) or automotive (ISO26262) frameworks, demonstrating your adaptability to different safety-critical domains.
  • Knowledge of tool qualification aspects in safety-critical systems, emphasizing your attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
