Join the power movement as a Transportation Planner
As a member of the CFS Supply Chain Team you will be responsible for assisting in meeting company objectives through Logistics and Material movement. Your focus will be supporting timely shipping inbound and outbound of CFS goods and materials. You will need to be able to take on project style shipments in a project management role - showing the leadership to propose solutions for stakeholders and customers to enable meeting schedule and cost objectives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a customer-oriented mindset and have the ability to manage a variety of tasks.

What you'll do:
Set up and manage international shipments (inbound, outbound) prepare documentation and execute shipments with approved partnersProject Management of large shipments projects including schedule, scope and costing exercises, follow up on permits and external requirements for a successful transferWorking with external freight forwarders to negotiate and find best solutions to complex shipping activities, cost savings opportunitiesSupport receiving shipments and dock operations as neededReview and decide the best HTS classifications with the compliance teamObey and enforce CFS Safety guidelines and policies on the loading dock and in the warehouse; correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors while maintaining a clean work environmentEnsure compliance with CFS SDS requirements, HAZMAT storage and shipping plansWhat we're looking for:
High School Diploma or equivalent3+ Years combined experience in Shipping or Logistics fieldExperience in international shipments, customs requirementsStrong computer skills with MS office or G-Suite applicationsStrong communication and listening skillsInventory & warehousing operational knowledgeDomestic & International shipping experienceMultimodal transportation experienceBonus points for:
