What You Will Be Doing

The Training Development Manager will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement and manage an efficient and effective technical training program for our partners.  The Training Development Manager will manage a team of trainers and instructional designers to ensure that they meet the needs of our partners and customers by delivering high-quality technical training that is engaging, effective, and scalable with the overall objective of enabling partners to perform quality field services for EV Solution Customers on behalf of ChargePoint. The successful candidate will have a proven record of technical training and certifications in the technology, solar or related industry, and have excellent communication, leadership and project management skills.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Develop and implement technical training programs and content that align with company goals and objectives
  • Create and manage technical training implementations and timelines to ensure smooth delivery and service excellence to customers by our trained partners
  • Manage a team of trainers and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support for professional development
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of technical training programs and make recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborate with instructional designers to develop training materials that are engaging, effective, and meet the needs of various audiences
  • Ensure that all training materials and resources are up-to-date, accurate, and relevant
  • Manage relationships with partners and customers to ensure that their training needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work with training vendors to identify and implement best practices and new technologies to improve training delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as education, instructional design, or business administration
  • 7+ years of experience in training delivery, with 4+ years in a management or leadership role
  • Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience with learning management systems and other training technologies
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other training software
  • Engineering / Solar industry background in education or experience

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $47,250 to $105,250. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
