Zoox is transforming mobility-as-a-service by developing a fully autonomous, purpose-built fleet designed for AI to drive and humans to enjoy.

The Test and Diagnostics team at Zoox builds the manufacturing test solutions for delivering high quality components on the manufacturing line for use in our purpose-built autonomous robotaxis. The team is made up of hardware and software specialists along with generalists who write test programs using python and bash, build server infrastructure using python and JavaScript and come up with innovative solutions to thorny manufacturing problems. As our very own Test Infrastructure Intern, you will help build the infrastructure that powers the manufacturing test activities at Zoox. You will get the opportunity to start, develop and finish an impactful project that includes building both frontend and backend components.

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.

Vaccine Mandate

Employees working in this position will be required to have received a vaccine approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and/or the World Health Organization. In addition, employees who are eligible for a COVID-19 booster vaccine (“Booster”) will be required to receive a Booster. Employees will be required to show proof of vaccination status upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment. Technical Qualifications & Language Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field

Knowledge of programming languages (e.g Python, JavaScript, SQL)

Experience building simple applications using web technologies (e.g EST APIs, Python Flask/Django, SQL)

Excellent communication and time management skills
