About This Role: 

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Technical Trainer/Adoption Specialist Contractor to join our team for 3 months with the possibility of extension or full time hire based on performance. This candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering technical training programs to our manufacturing employees (both front of office, as well as shop floor). This role requires a deep understanding of the subject matter, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt training methodologies to meet the diverse learning needs of participants.

A Day In The Life:

  • Creating a training program; primarily for user ERP training / adoption.

  • Creating documentation materials for new users / updating existing.

  • Schedule and hold training sessions for new and existing users.

  • Must be good at translating technical jargon down to layman human-readable language, and simplify down technical documentation.

  • Design and develop technical training materials, including presentations, manuals, exercises, and assessments, in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Conduct engaging and informative technical training sessions through various mediums such as classroom instruction, virtual classrooms, webinars, and e-learning platforms.

  • Tailor training content and delivery methods to meet the specific needs of different audiences, including employees, customers, and partners.

  • Create and maintain documentation related to training programs, including course outlines, training schedules, and training records.

  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to learners to reinforce learning objectives and help them apply new skills and knowledge effectively.

  • Assist with troubleshooting technical issues related to training delivery platforms and equipment to ensure smooth training sessions.

You Will Thrive in this Role if:

  • Have prior experience in technical instructional design.

  • Have a background in building and managing content in an LMS (preferably WorkRamp).

  • Strong teaching and mentoring experience.

  • Proven experience as a technical trainer or similar role, preferably in a technology-driven industry.  Manufacturing experience is a plus.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

  • Proficiency in instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Has experience with ERP or knowledge of manufacturing.

  • Is familiar with Confluence (Atlassian)

  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to our locations for onsite training sessions, as needed.

  • Temp to hire based on performance

  • All job offers are contingent upon receiving a negative drug/alcohol test.

  • Must be able to pass a background check


Compensation Range:

Compensation will be paid in the range of $70-$80/Hour. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
