We are currently seeking a Development Tools Engineer (Technical Specialist level - Staff Engineer equivalent) for our ADAS/Autonomous Driving Platform software team. This position requires an experienced professional with full stack knowledge of system development , automation and solid knowledge of state-of-the-art tools needed to facilitate development, integration, and validation of an integrated Autonomous driving system.

Some of the tools, you would be developing include:
A full stack cloud and embedded solution, to update ECUs in Automation test racks, in Vehicle and Factory. A Graphical interface tool to multi-flash ECUs in factory. Asynchronous data logger to record vehicle sensor data. A Wireshark messaging protocol analyzer. Log analyzer.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
· California (Bay Area) - $150,000 - $214,500/yr

The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. The Role:
As a member of the Lucid Motors Autonomous Driving Platform Software team, you will work closely with engineers from various AD teams (e.g. Camera, Perception, Embedded) to understand the process and tools requirements and seek opportunities to automate repetitive or complex tasks. You will play a hands-on role to develop innovative tools and techniques to support all phases of development, including software builds, testing, simulation, and validation.
