Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is $5,500 to $7,500. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level of education. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, and a housing stipend (relocation assistance will be offered based on eligibility).
In this Role, You will...
Define product requirements and roadmap for agentic AI solutions that automate and optimize operational workflows across engineering, fleet operations, or business functionsCollaborate with AI/ML engineers, software teams, and operations stakeholders to identify high-impact automation opportunities and translate them into product specificationsConduct user research and data analysis to measure efficiency gains, validate solution effectiveness, and iterate on agent capabilitiesBuild prototypes, write technical specifications, and create go-to-market plans for AI agent deploymentsPresent findings and recommendations to cross-functional leadership teamsRequirements
Currently working towards a M.B.A.Good academic standingAble to commit to a 12-week internship beginning in May or June of 2026At least one previous industry internship, co-op, or project completed in a relevant areaAbility to relocate to the Bay Area, California for the duration of the internshipInterns at Zoox may not use any proprietary information they are working on as part of their thesis, any published work with their university, or to be distributed to anyone outside of ZooxQualifications
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, particularly LLMs, agentic frameworks, and automation technologiesExperience with product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar)Proficiency in SQL and data analysis; Python experience a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiencesDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision makingBonus Qualifications
