Systems Reliability and Stability Internship/Co-op

Zoox is transforming mobility-as-a-service by developing a fully autonomous, purpose-built fleet designed for AI to drive and humans to enjoy.

The SW-HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) group designs and develops systems that test the performance and software integration of Zoox’s autonomous driver on vehicle-representative hardware. 

The team is looking for interns to work on a research project to improve resilience, and write software to build auto-recovery mechanisms. Additionally, the intern will contribute to writing automation for telemetry, tools for managing HW components, and health diagnostic tools. To this end the intern is expected to work with senior software engineers, datacenter engineers, and hardware engineers. 

The monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
