Zoox is looking for an intern to join our Firmware and Systems Integration team. In this role, you will be working at the intersection of hardware, software and firmware. You will work closely with vehicle engineers, systems engineers, controls engineers, and suppliers to ensure the Zoox vehicle can drive safely and reliably. We are looking for people who are passionate about working with hardware and developing production-quality code for complex dynamic systems.
Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is $6,175 to $9,025. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.

Rising senior or master’s degree pursuing a degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, Robotics or equivalent experienceExperience with common software development languages, e.g., C++, Python, etcA strong background in Mathematics, Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Kinematics is desirableFamiliarity with modern software development methodologies and tools (Agile, Git, unit testing, CI, etc.)
