We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the growth of our Telematics Diagnostics software team. The Telematics Diagnostics team works on writing software features interacting with the entire vehicle from Telematics Control Unit to achieve critical vehicle functions like Over-The-Air Software Updates for the Vehicle, etc. These technologies are being pioneered in-house at Lucid and are at the cutting edge.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Electrical Engineer 2+ years of academic/industry experience with C/C++ development1+ years of academic/industry experience with Linux Operating System and Computer NetworksExperience with scripting languages/tools and methods to optimize SW development and testing activities.Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design, Data Structures and Algorithms
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Electrical Engineer Working knowledge of Automotive Protocols such as CAN, UDS, DoIP etc.Working knowledge of Networking protocols such as TCP/UDP, MQTT.Experience in scripting languages such as Python is a plus. Experience in the field of Automotive Telematics Software is a big plus. Strong understanding of IPC Mechanisms – Sockets, Message Queues, Shared Memory, etc. Experience writing Software Automotive Diagnostics is a plus. Strong Proficiency in Shell Scripting (Bash)
