The Supplier Integration Manager is a key member of the Supply Chain team. They are accountable for integrating suppliers into the early stages of product design to optimize schedule, cost, and quality. The Supplier Integration Manager is an expert in technical sourcing, speaks the language of engineers, and understands how to marshal internal and external resources in support of project objectives.

This team member will:
Drive sourcing projects, coordinating cross-functionally and adhering to commodity strategies where applicable (including: gather and interpret technical and non-technical requirements, review statements of work, identify potential suppliers)Negotiate short and long-term agreements for parts, subassemblies, finished goods, equipment, and/or servicesCreate and manage purchase ordersMonitor suppliers throughout the execution of the contractsSupport cost savings initiatives, lead time improvement projects, and quality improvement projectsDefine or collaborate on project procurement or commodity strategiesVisit suppliers as necessary to conduct business reviews or check on project milestonesNegotiate internally and externally at high levels or with persons of influence frequentlyThe ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, finance or other related fields7+ years’ related work experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, engineering or other relevant supplier-focused environmentProven experience in supporting critical new product introduction activities for highly technical productsDeep understanding of supply chain and ERP best practicesAbility to communicate with internal engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers in a collaborative way Ability to negotiate complex contractsOrganizational and project management skillsCustomer service mindset and entrepreneurial spiritExceptional creative problem solving and critical thinking skillsDemonstrate integrity, respect, attention to detail, collaboration, creativity and agilityAbility to work well under pressure in a dynamic environmentAdditional preferred experience and/or qualifications:
Master’s degree in the field of Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance or other related fieldPrevious experience designing or sourcing equipment for specialized industrial processes (e.g., cryogenics, high vacuum, oil and gas)Previous experience in a high growth environmentExperience sourcing highly technical products or experience managing highly technical suppliers through contracting and deliveryAbility to perform activities such as sitting for extended periods of timeWillingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionallyWork in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics#LI-Hybrid
