Our new technology, the Joule Hive Thermal Battery, converts unreliable solar and wind energy into on-demand heat, stored at temperatures approaching 2000 degrees Celsius. But historically reaching this high-temperature heat required burning fossil fuels, making the industrial sector responsible for 25% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

To do this, we are building the Joule Hive™ thermal battery: an energy storage technology that converts and stores cheap, renewable electricity as high-temperature heat. Electrified Thermal Solutions is looking for a motivated Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Massachusetts. This is a full-time role to help design and support the development of next-generation energy storage and thermal systems.

As a Structural Design Engineer, you will join our engineering team and play a pivotal role in developing our flagship commercial Joule Hive Thermal Battery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on a cutting-edge project in renewable energy technology.

Ownership of design and analysis of the mechanical structure of a commercial Thermal Energy Storage (TES) system

Generate parts, assemblies, and drawings within CAD in collaboration with design, construction, and commissioning engineering, as well as research & development departments
