To that end, we are developing a world-class commerce platform that will make learning about and purchasing electric adventure vehicles intuitive, seamless and fun. We are seeking <strong>Full Stack Staff Engineer(s)</strong> who will be developing large scale client-side applications using the latest javascript features, frameworks and tooling. You will be building from the ground up with an obsession towards making these experiences memorable for the customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team early on and help lay the technical foundation for our commercial technology platform.</p>
<h3>This is what you’ll do:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Create a fleet vehicle management application that helps fleet managers increase asset uptime and safety by providing easy-to-understand insights using vehicle and driver data.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and product management team to build user-friendly, immersive, reactive applications</li>
<li>Design and review software architectures and be involved with every level of software development.</li>
<li>Guide and execute frontend architecture changes including React/GraphQL and/or REST APIs.</li>
<li>Measure performance and continuously improve the quality of web pages using automation tools such as Lighthouse.</li>
<li>Consistently write high-quality testable code and provide constructive feedback while performing code reviews.</li>
<li>Coach and guide the team members on the development and testing best practices.</li>
<li>Build CI/CD pipelines to perform continuous integration, continuous deployment, and test automation.</li>
</ul>
<h3>This is what you’ll need:</h3>
<ul>
<li>8+ years of building large scale enterprise-grade systems</li>
<li>Experience building distributed systems at scale that can handle millions of transactions per second</li>
<li>Excellent JavaScript/ES6, HTML5, CSS/SASS/LESS, React, or other JS frameworks experience</li>
<li>Experience working with NodeJS, Webpack, GraphQL, Restful APIs, JSON</li>
<li>Excellent understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues as well as the ability to debug</li>
<li>Comfortable navigating trade-offs to bring the right data structure and algorithms to the problem</li>
<li>Experience working with AWS or GCP, and CDNs</li>
<li>Dedicated to unit, integration testing and coverage – comfortable using tools of the trade on profiling, source control</li>
<li>Great understanding of SEO principles</li>
<li>Experience building DevOps pipelines.</li>
<li>Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas by rapid prototyping</li>
<li>Meticulous around visibility of the systems you build – metrics, centralized logging,</li>
<li>Data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail, and ability to A/B test scenarios</li>
</ul>
<h3>Nice to have:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience in Datadog synthetic monitoring tool.</li>
<li>Experience working with event streaming platforms (Kafka/Kinesis)</li>
<li>Experience with data processing technologies such as Apache Flink</li>
<li>Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB</li>
